The new E-A-R ARC Plug will help you meet new regulations, without meeting worker resistance. The Reason? Unlike typical earplugs, the ARC Plug is uniquely designed to allow wearers to hear clearly under normal noise conditions. Workers won't feel isolated, or miss important conversations or signals because of "Muffled" hearing.

INSTANT ARC PROTECTION
-NO TIME DELAY

In the case of an arc blast, the impulse noise will cause the plug's noise filter to react instantly (some protectors can have a dangerous time delay) and the noise will be suppressed to a safer level. The chance of permanent hearing damage or concussive disorientation is greatly reduced or eliminated. Once the impulse noise subsides, the ARC Plug reverts to hear-through clarity.

CONSTANT PROTECTION FOR CONSTANT NOISE

The red end of the ARC Plug provides steady protection with an NRR of 22dB. THis is the ideal wearing position when exposed to constant high-level sound sources (85dB and above).
